Chained in Wan Chai follows Klaus Lange from a night he thinks he can buy to a city that has already priced him. In the bars and back rooms of Hong Kong he meets Nisa and Aree, two women who are not what the evening promised. The trap closes around all three. What begins as a private fall — collars, cameras, a house with no exit — ends in a handover. Lian does not collect souvenirs. She collects inventory.

Part 2 opens on the road out. The girls go into crates stencilled for Shanghai. Klaus stays. Collared, ringed, and walked up the Peak, he is sold by the hour to women who have paid for the hate still in him: a widow in green, a divorcee in red, a rope-mistress who aims him at someone else. Then the coat arrives. Chyou Wang does not want a bed. She wants a harvest, a scan, and a name that reads prime. Samples leave for Shanghai. Europe bids. Lian counts. The series asks the only question this trade never answers cleanly — whether a man who has been priced can still be the one holding the list.

Part 1 — Chained in Wan Chai
Klaus Lange walks into Wan Chai thinking the night is his. Nisa and Aree are already in the trap. A private house, a camera, a collar, and a buyer named Lian turn one evening into a sale. By the last page the three of them are no longer guests. They are freight.

Part 2 — The Current Does Not Stop
Nisa and Aree ship. Klaus does not. Lian keeps the German as a stud for the women of the Peak, then sells what he leaves in a tube to a doctor from Shanghai who measures men in millilitres. Three million changes hands. The crate is not the end of the story.
