As Brianna adapts to Viking life, working in their armory and training to become a shieldmaiden, she is plagued by prophetic visions that guide her and her new clan to Iceland to rescue Eirik’s daughter, Ragnhild, from a red-haired witch and her monstrous creatures.

The saga intensifies as Brianna’s visions blur the line between dreams and reality, revealing threats from both the witch’s black magic and internal clan tensions. Fiona, haunted by nightmares of her captivity and torment by Kassandra’s hellhounds, seeks refuge in a cave, only to encounter a menacing giant creature. As the Winter Solstice nears, Sir Marshall unleashes an army of undead Norse warriors on Ekkofjord, threatening total destruction. Brianna’s haunting visions hold the key to stopping the invasion, while a glimpse into Kleeah’s past introduces a blind sword dancer who may unlock the meaning behind Brianna’s prophecies.
