In Soviet Gulag, Natalya Kruschenko, a brilliant and spirited 20-year-old student, is ensnared by the strict Soviet system. As the daughter of a prominent dissident, she is detained and sent to Camp Norilsk, a rigorous labor camp in Siberia, during the severe winter of 1950. The journey is grueling, and the camp’s conditions are even more demanding. There, capable women like Natalya are assigned to specialized tasks to support the camp’s operations. However, Natalya draws the attention of Colonel Poliakov, a longtime adversary of her father. Instead of being assigned routine duties, she becomes his personal project, facing intense intellectual challenges as he seeks to undermine her resolve in a calculated vendetta.
