In Nairobi, 2015, Angelique’s dream African safari with her husband Francesco and childhood friend Bella turns into a nightmare when she catches Francesco cheating with Bella. Before she can process the betrayal, the trio is kidnapped by a separatist militia targeting Francesco, revealed as Agent 069, a covert operative for the European Central Intelligence holding secrets about the Neomafia and EuroWeapon system. The militia, led by a ruthless interrogator, subjects Angelique and Bella to brutal coercion to extract information from Francesco, who refuses to comply, even as his wife and friend endure torment. A captive superheroine, referred to as an "American icon," is also humiliated, sparking something in Angelique as she witnesses the scene. 

Fueled by rage and a desire for revenge against Francesco’s infidelity, Angelique’s perspective shifts during her ordeal. When the militia’s enforcer, Tyron, engages her, she willingly participates, driven by a mix of defiance and awakened desire, embracing the act in front of her husband to make him suffer. This traumatic experience, coupled with the superheroine’s degradation, triggers a transformation in Angelique, birthing her alter ego, Dragonia, a new member of the "9 Super Heroines." As Francesco relents, providing encrypted data to save Angelique, the militia prepares to execute him, while Dragonia’s emergence hints at her future as a formidable force, forged in betrayal and resilience.
