Mr. Gonos runs a shadowy loan operation, lending cash to desperate souls with a reputation for ruthless repayment demands. The story kicks off with the duo targeting Kelly Stines, a woman who borrowed money for reasons she’d rather keep buried. She’s defaulted for months, and Gonos wants his cash back, no excuses. Peter and Steve track her down, ready to use whatever means necessary to make her pay.
Their encounter with Kelly turns ugly fast. She’s cornered at a parking lot, pleading about personal problems—car trouble, maybe a lover—but the guys don’t care. They rough her up, demanding the full amount plus interest, and when she can’t deliver, they escalate with intimidation and violence. Kelly scrambles, promising to sell something—her car, her jewelry—to settle the debt by tomorrow. Peter and Steve leave her,  a warning ringing in her ears: pay up or face worse next time.

The following morning, the pair switches gears and heads to the office of Mrs. Flexon, a slick lawyer who’s tangled deep in Gonos’ web. She owes a hefty sum, piled high with interest from a loan she took to fuel her side hustle—rumors say it’s cocaine dealing. Unlike Kelly, Mrs. Flexon tries to play it cool when Peter and Steve barge in, claiming she’s already paid Gonos in full. The guys aren’t buying it; they’ve got numbers showing she’s still on the hook for a fortune in accrued interest. The tension spikes as they press her hard, threatening to expose her secrets—her husband can’t know about this mess.

Mrs. Flexon fights back, threatening to call the cops, but Peter and Steve hold the upper hand with their evidence and Gonos’ backing. They give her an ultimatum: transfer the money now, or they’ll make sure she regrets it—physically and personally. The comic weaves a brutal tale of debt’s consequences, where Gonos’ crew dishes out punishment to keep the cash flowing. By the end, Kelly and Mrs. Flexon are left scrambling to survive Gonos’ grip, each facing a reckoning that’ll mark them for good. Will they scrape the funds together, or will Peter and Steve return with even harsher lessons?
