Valley of the Kings, 1935. British archaeologist Dr. Edmund Harrow came for lost tombs — and for the women sharing his isolated camp. Blonde photographer Evelyn Shaw, French Egyptologist Camille, the guide’s daughter Soraya, and the rest of his “complete set” work the desert by day. By night he studies their tents, their habits, and the gold shackles he pulled from a burial chamber.

One by one they learn what those ancient restraints were really for: gags, chloroform, a belt across bare breasts, and a man who treats an expedition like his private harem while a jealous rival collects scraps of proof outside the canvas. 

The season is ending. A storm is rising. Harrow has one last move planned — and he intends to take his favourite blue-eyed blonde with him. Will the desert bury his crimes… or will someone in camp finally make him pay?
